On Tuesday morning, GHSA officially released the new classifications for 2020-2022. This is prior to hearing appeals. Once appeals have been made, the schools will then be placed within regions. This is expected to be finalized around December or January.

FULL CLASSIFICATION (per GHSA)

In this reclassification, Habersham Central stays in 6A, while White County (4A), Dawson (3A), Lumpkin (3A), Rabun (2A), Banks (2A), Union (2A), Commerce (1A Public), Towns (1A Public), and Tallulah Falls (1A Private) all state put. Jefferson moves up from 3A to 4A, whiles Stephens County moves from 4A to 3A.
