
On Wednesday, the Dawson County boys came in as 7-AAA’s runner-up team, led by Collin Kilgore (16:15) and Ben McGinnis (16:16), who finished second and third individually to lead the Tigers. North Hall took the top spot for the boys.
Also in 7-AAA, Lumpkin’s boys came in 5th overall, missing the cut for state. Jorge Romero (18:04) finished 24th to lead the way for the Indians, while Kyle Trammell (18:45) was close behind in 29th.

On the girls’ side, both Dawson (3rd) and Lumpkin (4th) made the cut for the state meet. North Hall won the girls meet as well. Dawson’s Evion Reinhardt (21:42) was 7th overall, as Celine Sapp (21:58) was 9th for the Lady Tigers. Lumpkin’s Abbie Helchie (21:03) was 4th individually to lead the Lady Indians.
