In what is one of the highest honors for an offensive line unit, the Dragons’ guys up front earned “Line of Distinction” recognition for their Week 5 efforts by Georgia High School Football Daily.

Jefferson’s offensive line of Gage Swilling, Colton Steele, Mason Ware, Dylan Ryoul, and Colton Dufrense paved the way for 317 yards rushing on 46 attempts in a 41-7 victory over Gainesville. The Dragons have gone over 300 yards rushing in each of their past two games.

Jefferson is now 2-1 overall and open region play in Week 6 when traveling to East Jackson. The Dragons’ O-Line is the second local program to be recognized so far this year, as Habersham Central’s group recently was honored in the same way.
