We put it to a vote, and after 11,110 total tallies, it was Habersham Central’s Smith Caudell who came out as the leading vote-getter (5,051) to be named Player of the Week.
SMITH CAUDELL

Freshman Smith Caudell was the lone Raider to qualify for the state tournament. And while his 35th-place finish doesn’t appear to have much luster, consider that the 6A classification was STACKED!
Caudell, who could have been undone by the big stage, held his own. He fired a first-round solid 79, and followed that up with an even-better 76 in the second round.
Caudell is also a BLITZ Golfer of the Year Finalist, and will be a force for Habersham Central over the next few years.
