The proverbial light at the end of the tunnel is here for local soccer, with some teams having just a couple games left. Here’s our final look until the season is completely over.

#1 DAWSON CO LADY TIGERS
RECORD: 12-1-1 (6-0)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #1
The Lady Tigers haven’t been beaten since game one at Forsyth Central in a non-region contest. Aside from a draw to Eastside, it’s been a habit of winning all year long.
PLAYOFFS: Region title and #1 seed is a lock. This should be a DEEP playoff run.
#2 WHITE CO LADY WARRIORS
RECORD: 12-3 (2-3)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #2
White County has posted 4 straight wins! The girls have been as phenomenal as ever.
PLAYOFFS: With a recent 1-0 win over Chestatee, the girls are in! The Lady Warriors have just one region game left (West Hall; 1-12), so a win or loss has no bearing on the #4 seed out of 7-AAAA. A loss would tie with Denmark at 2-4 in region, but White Co holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.
#3 JEFFERSON LADY DRAGONS
RECORD: 11-3-1 (5-1)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #5
Since a heartbreaking loss to Jackson County, the Lady Dragons are back on the winning train, taking 4 straight. They have one last non-region game left to play.
PLAYOFFS: It’s secured, as the #2 seed in 8-AAA. Playoff home game!
#4 LUMPKIN CO LADY INDIANS
RECORD: 10-6 (4-2)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #2
The Lady Indians are seeking to peak at the right time. Three straight losses to Dawson, Jackson County, and Buford had the girls hungry for more Ws, so they grabbed a big 3-1 win over North Forsyth to close the regular season.
PLAYOFFS: It’s secured for Lumpkin as the current #3 seed!
#5 UNION CO LADY PANTHERS
RECORD: 10-2-1 (7-0)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #4
A 10-0 win over Monticello is just the latest jaw-dropper for Union, who hadn’t lost since game number one against Lumpkin. A draw against Gilmer on April 9 was the only time the Lady Panthers didn’t walk off the field as the winning team. Until last night, when White County won 3-1 over Union. One non-region game left (Temple) for a final tune-up.
PLAYOFFS: Region title and #1 playoff seed is a done deal!

#6 TOWNS CO LADY INDIANS
RECORD: 8-2-1 (5-0)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #6
The Lady Indians are on fire! Six straight wins currently, with one final tune-up game to play.
PLAYOFFS: Playoffs are a LOCK for the girls with a flawless record among their area. Region/Area title also!
#7 HABERSHAM CENTRAL LADY RAIDERS
RECORD: 6-9 (5-5)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #8
The Lady Raiders once were 0-4 (0-5 if you count their scrimmage), but since, they have gone 6-5. All that’s left is a single non-region tune-up.
PLAYOFFS: Habersham is in!! The girls are in fourth, as Apalachee also finished 5-5 and sits above them. The rivals split their two-game series, but Apalachee won in aggregate 5-4.

#8 STEPHENS CO LADY INDIANS
RECORD: 7-7-1 (1-3)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #7
The Lady Indians seek to get back on track after two losses in a row preceded by a draw. A single non-region game remains.
PLAYOFFS: Stephens is in the playoffs with a five-team region. Number-four seed.

#9 RABUN CO LADY WILDCATS
RECORD: 5-3-1 (4-2-1)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #9
Rabun is in a good spot right now, especially following the 4-2 win over Elbert.
PLAYOFFS: The Lady Cats locked up the 3rd seed in region!
#10 BANKS CO LADY LEOPARDS
RECORD: 3-13 (1-6)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #10
A recent win for Banks was nice over Hart County. Two non-region games left to play.
PLAYOFFS: Unfortunately the Lady Leopards are out of the mix at 1-6.
#11: COMMERCE LADY TIGERS
RECORD: 2-8-2 (2-3-1)
PREVIOUS RANKING: #11
The Lady Tigers’ inaugural season nears an end. One game left.
PLAYOFFS: Not likely for the Commerce first-year group.
