It’s no surprise to see Tucker Maxwell having loads of success at the next level. The current junior outfielder for the Georgia Bulldogs dazzled often at Dawson County on the gridiron and on the diamond. The lefty legged out an inside the park homerun against UMASS Lowell on Sunday, which led to his play being the best across NCAA for the Week.
Maxwell’s at-bat saw him launch a ball deep into right center, and it careened off the wall. With Maxwell’s speed, by the time the center fielder reached the ball, Maxwell was rounding third. He dove into home to complete the solo inside the park homerun, putting UGA up 9-3 in an eventual 12-5 win. The Bulldogs are 7-1 overall on the season.
Maxwell is hitting .217 with a homer and 3 RBI. He has nine career homers for the Bulldogs.
