With the #4-ranked Lady Wildcats battling a series of injuries, it’s been a familiar face stepping up to lead Rabun County. Senior guard Brooke Henricks, a long-time impact player for coach DeeDee Dillard, is the first BLITZ Player of the Week in the calendar year 2019.
BROOKE HENRICKS

Henricks was the one last season on the sidelines throughout most of the season after suffering a devastating knee injury that ate a chunk of her junior campaign.
This time, it’s others on the team fighting the injury bug. Safe to say Henricks is as close to 100% as you can get from that previous knee injury. In the past two games, she’s put up 26.5 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals per contest. She dropped 23 points and 9 rebounds in a win over Smoky Mountain (NC), and 30 points and 5 boards against Franklin (NC). The Lady Cats are now 10-1 on the season, including a perfect 3-0 in region play.
