#2 Rabun vs Oglethorpe

The Wildcats earned their seventh straight win and will use Oglethorpe as a final tune-up before the season finale, a region title game against Union County at home. Oglethorpe will not put up much of a fight.  PREDICTION: Rabun Wins

#3 Commerce vs Riverside Military

Perfection is still intact for the 8-0 Tigers after routing Towns County. RMA will be the next victim before the true region title crossover game in the finale.  PREDICTION: Commerce Wins

#7 Dawson vs Cherokee Bluff

Dawson County got the train back on track with a big win over Fannin last week, and this week is at home against win-less Cherokee Bluff. Look for some big numbers on the scoreboard.  PREDICTION: Dawson Wins

#10 Union vs Social Circle

Union County is fresh off a win over Oglethorpe to stay perfect at 8-0. Social Circle awaits, which might prove even easier.  PREDICTION: Union Wins

White vs Chestatee

This is a big game for White County for a third straight week. A win means they still have a shot for the state playoffs. Chestatee is 1-7, but they have Christian Charles, so it’s not a given.  PREDICTION: White Wins

Lumpkin vs Fannin

Lumpkin is glad to put GAC and North Hall in the rearview mirror. Fannin represents a good shot for the Indians to maybe pick up that second region win.  PREDICTION: Lumpkin Wins

Stephens vs Madison

The Indians have lost two straight against Oconee County teams, but Madison County might be just as difficult. However, we will go with the Indians.  PREDICTION: Stephens Wins

#7 Jefferson @ Jackson

The Dragons lost the region title vs Monroe Area. With a bye week next week, this is the regular season finale for Jefferson, on the road at Jackson County with a chance to staple down a home game in the first round of state at least.  PREDICTION: Jefferson Wins

Habersham Central @ Winder-Barrow

The Raiders need this win in the worst way after falling to Dacula last week. This win combined with another next week gets Hab Central back in the postseason after a long hiatus.  PREDICTION: Habersham Wins

Banks @ Monticello

The Leopards were able to nab a win over Putnam for region win number three, and now Monticello stands in the way as a potential block or stepping stone to the postseason. Banks County needs this win.  PREDICTION: Banks Wins

Towns @ Lakeview

The Indians have now lost five in a row and six of the past seven. Towns can turn the page here on the road when taking on Lakeview, a win-less 0-8 team.  PREDICTION: Towns Wins
