Three times this season, Austin Jones has been named the BLITZ Player of the Week. Same can be said for teammate Gunner Stockton.
After 1,954 votes, it was Jones who earned the Fan Vote Player of the Week award with 1,048 of the total votes
AUSTIN JONES

Austin Jones’ stellar season continues, as he dominates opposition with few touches in any given contest. This time he recorded just three receptions, but two went for six points in a 68-7 win at Banks County in Week 6. For Jones, he totaled 115 yards on those three catches, including scoring on the game’s third play. He also recorded 10 tackles and one for loss.

GUNNER STOCKTON

Stockton was electric yet again, this time turning in a career performance with seven total TDs in a win at Banks County. The freshman completed 15-of-28 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns, and lit up the board in the ground game with 87 yards on seven carries (12.4 yards per tote), with four touchdowns. The rushing yards and touchdowns are career highs, topping his stellar week prior.
The 265 passing yards were just two shy of his career-best 267 against North Murray. All said in 2018, he has been responsible for 22 touchdowns at the midway point.
