Habersham Central is looking to make it three straight trips to the state tournament. This year’s team is very different than in the past, where there are zero seniors and a load of talented juniors, sophomores and freshman – which bodes well for the future.

Perhaps a player who best exemplifies what it means to be a Lady Raider is junior libero Sydney Brookshire.

For Brookshire, she has all of zero ball-handling errors this season, which is absurd enough in and of itself. Brookshire also averages 11 digs per match, and has a 98% serving percentage to go with a 96% passing accuracy.

Brookshire and the Lady Raiders are 18-9 overall and 2-6 in region/area play as we hit the last portion of the season.
