For Izzy Kinard, it’s not just on the tennis court that she shines. Here lately, it’s been on the diamond, as the Lumpkin County Lady Indians softball program sits at 13-3 overall and 5-1 in region play.
Kinard, a senior, has been one of the key cogs in the machine for the Lady Indians.

The utility player who has played third base, second base and catcher, has had a fantastic season. She carries a .548 batting average with three homeruns and 15 RBI, scoring 13 runs and adding four doubles and a triple.
In the last five ball games, she’s continued to pile up the statistics, going 10-for-15 at the plate (.667 avg) with two homers, two doubles, seven RBI and ten runs scored.
