Stephens County volleyball doesn’t have the record it might like, but the young team has had some great play by its senior captain and leader Ali Bohannon.

Bohannon has been involved in volleyball all four years in Toccoa, and is a 3-year starting varsity player at the libero position. She was voted team captain of her team this season.
While her stats on the court are impressive, she’s also getting it done in the classroom to the tune of a 92.6 cumulative GPA. She’s averaging 15-plus digs per match and 7 serve points per match on average.
“Ali is by far the best libero I have seen from any team we have played,” says coach Sita Preston. “Her reaction time is phenomenal and saves balls I would have never expected. She leads her team well on and off the court. I love to watch Ali play as she brings so much excitement to the court. Her passion and love for the game shines through her as she plays.”
The Lady Indians are 1-11 overall and 1-4 in region play this season.
