Rabun County, Jefferson and Commerce were all listed among the top-10 in their respective classifications by AJC in the first state rankings of 2018.
Rabun County sits at #2 in Class 2A, Jefferson at #6 in Class 4A and Commerce at #7 in Class 1A Public. All three teams return a slew of talent and are poised for big 2018 seasons.
The Dawson County Tigers were just outside the top-10, showing up at #14. Despite losing their top quarterback in school history, and one of the state’s best dual threats in Coey Watson, the Tigers have a stellar defense and plenty of skill position players like Sevaughn Clark, Ryan Glass and other incoming transfers that will likely make Dawson a top region competitor with GAC.
