Rabun County’s girls golf program is in fourth place after carding a 42-over first round as a team. Metter is the team Rabun is chasing, but has a sizable 11-stroke lead to claim third place.
Journey Quilliams is 12th individually after a 90 (+19). Carrie Beck’s 23-over 94 round has her tied for 18th among a tough field. The GHSA 2A Tournament is being held for the girls at Waynesboro Country Club and will hold round two beginning tomorrow morning.
