All-Region 8-AAAA teams were announced this week, and a pair of Stephens County players made the list on the girls side.

Senior all-time goal-scoring leader Erin Carter, a BLITZ Player of the Year finalist, was named All-Region 1st Team, while fellow senior teammate Erin Ritchey, a defender, was tabbed to the All-Region 2nd Team.

Both of the Lady Indians will be seen this fall playing at the collegiate level. Carter is heading to Shorter University, while Ritchey will play at Toccoa Falls College.
