All-Region 8-6A honors were named this week, as Habersham Central head coach Chris Akridge was named Co-Coach of the Year aside Winder’s Brian Smith. The following Habersham Central Players were also honored on the all-region team.

1st Team: 
Jarred Jones, Senior

2nd Team Pitcher:
Peyton Irvin, Junior

2nd Team:
Hunter Ingle, Senior

All three Raiders were also recently named BLITZ Player of the Year nominees, while Jones was then announced this week as a finalist for the award.
