Some region titles were decided on Friday night, while some played their semifinals games. The action was highlighted by both Banks County teams downing Elbert County to win Region 8-AA titles, thus giving them the #1-seed in the state playoffs. For the Leopards, it was a nice redemption story after falling twice this year to Elbert.
