The Commerce Tigers released their 2018 football schedule. The Tigers went 8-3 this 2017 season, falling in the second round of the 1A state playoffs to Charleston County.

The schedule features two scrimmages (East Jackson & Frankin County) and the glaring miss on the slate is no Jefferson-Commerce historic rivalry. West Hall, Hart County and Madison County all are on the schedule for non-region action.

Coach Michael Brown has continued a strong tradition at Commerce since taking over in 2013. One of the most historical programs in the state, the Tigers have been to the state playoffs 33 times in history with a pair of state titles and 18 region championships.

The current streak stands at 21 straight years advancing to the playoffs.
