Game Of The Week: Rabun County vs Elbert County

Our Game of the Week takes us to Tiger to watch some history unfold for Gunner Stockton and Rabun County. The star QB is just 4 TD passes from breaking the all-time passing TD mark set by Trevor Lawrence. Stockton needs 3 to tie, 4 to break. This also marks senior night for a brilliant and irreplaceable senior class for Rabun County. Lastly, this features the top two teams in the region, so it sits as a defacto region championship-clinching game. A win for Rabun locks it down essentially.

RABUN COUNTY

The Wildcats come in with top top scoring offense in Class 2A at 48.5 points per game. That offense features the state’s top passer and receiver in Gunner Stockton and Jaden Gibson. The defense is stout and seemingly without holes.

ELBERT COUNTY

Elbert County is a team that has seemingly improved as of late. The team is coming off a game in which they dropped a season-high 52 points on the Union County Panthers, and have positioned themselves as the second-best team in the region.
